What's Going On?

In verse 21, it said that they had hoped that jesus was the one. And so that's what this earth symbolizes. There is this expansiveness of light, which i believe signifies on the glory and jesus waiting at the end of the road. Jesus is not looking for you or i to give him an answer to anything. He doesn't ask them because he's puzzled or he doesn't know, because he's still got himself, so obviously he knows.
