The Myside Bias

The goal can be to prove how wise and moral your group is. That goal is not necessarily objective truth. It can also be to win an argument in which the stakes matter to you. A favorite explanation among conservatives is it shows what we knew long liberals are illogical. The second part of the explanation is that we all harbor primitive intuitions.
