Baldwin's Involuntary Manslaughter Charge in the Shooting of Halia Hutchins on the New Mexico Set
Actor Alec Baldwin will be charged with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of cinematographer halia hutchins. The film's armorer who was in charge of weapons on the set and a Gutierrez read will each face two counts of involuntary manslaughter according to the new Mexico first judicial district attorney Mark Carmack all Weiss. Hutchins was fatally shot 15 months ago during the filming of rust at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in New Mexico on October 21st 2021. A firearm enhancement on the charges could make the crime punishable by a mandatory sentence of five years in jail.
