Austrian Economics
I want to talk about some problems I've had with libertarian thought generally. One is what I think is a pervasive corporatism in the economy. Every business, including my little e-commerce business, every business basically depends on government intervention. How should we then treat businesses when no business is truly a private enterprise? We all sort of creatures of the government to some extent, and therefore, should we have the rights of private property? Because it's not really private property, is it? It was probably based at some point on corrupted and unethical action.
