The Importance of the Presidential Records Act
Donald Trump argued that the Presidential Records Act allows him to have these documents as his. He also said about the Espionage Act and we've talked about this the other day and you can do it again. The law that applies to this case is not the Esp espionage Act, but the very, very simply the Presidential records act. Once he was no longer president, he no longer had right to have the documents because those documents belong to United States of America.
