Can Rishi Sunak Undo the Damage That Was Caused by the Mini Budget?
A windfall tax would go some way to helping Rishi Sunak perhaps balance the books. The major issue with that mini budget announced by Liz Truss and Quasie Quartan was this huge swathe of unfunded tax cuts which spooked the markets. Some of the challenges that were unearthed by the mini budget are more long dated. They relate back to some of the institutional damage that has taken place over the last six years since the Brexit went on.
