Context Receivers in Scala

There is a new feature that we've been kind of puzzling over the context receivers. We were thinking that it was kind of like type classes, but it doesn't seem to be fitting that way. Can you give us some perspective on context receivers? It's actually very much type classes. Actually the people, the use cases for this feature, they come from a variety of places,. They very much also come from the use cases that people familiar with type classes have.
