What Is Considered the First Science Fiction Literature?
When H.G. Wells wrote The Time Machine and published it, it was called a scientific romance. 30 years later in America, someone coined the really awkward phrase, scientifician, which became science fiction in 1929. There are centuries of people who write and imagine utopias - so they might be somewhere, set somewhere else. But they're also often set in a different time. So there are lots of multiple kind of origins.
