Code Switching

Code switching is adjusting the way hat you talk to comport yourself in a way that maybe matches society. Sometimes it is a tagged along with assimilation. So sacrificing parts of yourself in order to be accepted by others. It's a fine line to tow in those situations, because sometimes people might feel like it is an inappropriate sacrifice of who they are. And so i think if we think about this big kind of canvas of who we are, and these are there elements of us that we tap into a bit more depending on who's in front of us.
