My eyes shot open, my body paralyzed, and this figure was standing right above me. As I started to panic, delicate pink flower blossoms began falling all around me,. A sense of calm washed over me even though I still could not move. Probably a few seconds later, it disappeared again. For the next several months, this would be our nightly routine. In those moments, I felt so at peace, and kind of cared for in a sense. One day, the visits just stopped.
