The Importance of Objection in American Horror Story Season 4
I'm also thinking about and this may be controversial American horror story season four, it was entitled freak show. There's this really interesting scene where there is this white upper middle class woman who falls in love with one of the people in the circus. Her father is so horrified that she's in love with him that he hires a tattoo artist to do her body forcibly. When she wakes up, she is in the eyes of her father and in the eyes society that she grew up in, abject. Now you can go be with him, now it's acceptable.
