What Was the Trigger That Made You Go?

I have a lot of family in struggling with alcoholism and addiction. I was martyring myself and paying for rehabs and it was making my life on me. It's known sort of like a joke in the family, which I think is part of the achiever complex. "I kind of became a parent at a very young age in a way and very self-contained"
