Slate Plus - Three Months for Just $15
Dalia Lizzlic: You can now get three months of Slate Plus for just $15. She says Louise has been covering the debate over TikTok for years. Since 2019, TikTok has been negotiating with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S., a government office also known as Siphias. The subsidiary is supposed to be managed by a number of sort of oversight committees and there's going to be a bunch of checks that will ensure anything comes in or out of this subsidiary is managed.
