The Parallels Between the Wolf and the Hopi
A lot of what I learned about as it pertains to Hopi, I learned from Bertram. Every child's first clan is their mom's clan. You carry on that clan. A mother is the one who was brought a perch, brought her children in and directs their family with whichever way it comes. And so as a mother, you, you bring in life to this world. She teaches me about it, but my Navajo is not as strong as hers. It's teaching me respect for females when it comes to the fact that we are physically not built the same as men.
