What Do You Think of the Afghan Islamists?
Afghan Islamist parties played an important role in the 1980s and 1990s. They had very different ideas about what a post conflict Afghanistan should look like. Jamin Islami was especially favored by Pakistan's inner service as intelligence. His B. Islami gets slightly less funding from ISI, but it has alliances with famous resistance leaders who remain based in Afghanistan.
