Barry Riddholtz: Jack Bogel is the founder of Vanguard Group. He talks about how a crisis at Wellington led to the creation of the Vanguard Group. In 1974, he tried to merge with Ivest Fund but was fired for giving up too many votes. The two firms then merged and became an administrative company called Vanguard.
