Since 1950, 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic has been produced. Of that 6.4 billion is no longer in use, it's now considered useless. Around the world, 1 million plastic drinking bottles are purchased every single minute. And those disposable nappies that most babies around the world are currently wearing? That same nappy will probably still exist in the world in the 25th century.
