The Rise of Streaming in Hollywood
A John Wick spinoff was pulled from the Stars lineup after Amazon and Comcast Peacock streaming service offered Lionsgate $100 million for the show. The last time we saw a significant right strike, as you mentioned, was probably in 2007 when the strike lasted about 100 days give or take. A number of writers feel so good their conditions aren't necessarily as good as they were 10 years ago. And the rise of streaming has really affected them in that regard.
