Is Libertarianism Blind to Certain Philosophy?

Capitalism and the free market are defended as mechanisms that deliver to people what they want. Are those two ideas always identical? And is human nature a low resolution version of human nature libertarianism must view man as having? I'm not entirely sure how to identify addiction, but we tend to dismiss their revealed preferences, and even their expressed ones. We recognize some addictions easily when this desire to stop is not expressed. This might be because the person is behaving in ways that we suspect go against the selves. If we see some one so removed from life and reality, in the escape that may be a substance, provides us with no reason to think it's philosophically possible for them to enjoy
