Metallica's CEO and Creative Officer

James and Lars write all the songs together to this day. Other guys contribute ideas here and there but it's still James and Lars getting together in a room turning those ideas into actual songs. A big part of Metallica's success is the fact that Lars took business more seriously than his heavy metal peers who tried to pretend they were too cool for business until their money ran out.
