Stig Oskarred is a turtle trader covered in his second book, The Complete Turtle Trader. He graciously allowed his history of Trend-following to be reprinted in Trend Commandments. Little has been written about its origins and history before the early 20th century. It's at one level a phenomenon of the human psyche, an expression of Keynesian animal spirits.
