Silicon Valley Bank was the bank for half of all technology companies in the entire United States. The tech sector has been struggling over the past year, and people began to realize if this bank runs into any difficulties, we might not be able to get our cash out. You should diversify your banks the same way ordinary investors diversify their stocks. That doesn't make sense to have all your eggs in one basket.
