The Hillside Strangler has strangled young women and left their bodies along grassy hill sides. From 1977 to 1985, Los Angeles was a living hell as it became the center of two of the most vicious serial killing sprees in US history. For me, the cases are personal. My own family knew people attacked or murdered during both serial killing spree. I need to understand how such devastation was allowed to happen, and if it could ever happen again.
