Introduction

Former Wales Rugby Union International Alex Poppum was diagnosed with early onset dementia in 2020 when he was just 40. In the year since his diagnosis, Alex has co-founded the Head for Change charity which seeks to raise awareness about brain health in sport. He's been telling my colleague James Ticco about his experience.
