It's 22 years almost to the day as it happened that it happened. I persisted for around two years before my birchening career was brutally cut short at a ringing competition where many church groups all descended on a small village. My arm had somehow ended up tied into the rope, and i was dragged to the sky like a terrified pubescant mary monro. So you're basically in the belfry. This is like a cartoon tat is.
