The Clothes Metaphor in Ephesians 4

In the book of Ephesians there's three times that the language to be clothed is used. Even just by the association of those verbs these two passages are very close together. The putting off isn't final and finished entirely yet until Christ returns. But the putting on has already existed and begun in the present world. Paul emphasizes the redemptive work of God as accomplished by Christ.
