The Enlightenment: A Time of Chaos
From 1730 to 1780, the era of high enlightenment rained. Much of this Enlightenment period was centered around French philosophers like Voltaire and Montesquieu. Germany and its electorates were very much swept up in the era. It was a time of great national pride thanks to the accomplishments of Johann Wolfgang von Güttte and Friedrich Schiller.
