The Generational Chasm in America

Why shouldn't people in their 40s be running for the presidency in America? Why should we be stuck with these octogenarians? I don't know what's going on. The Democrats actually have a very weak Bench whereas the Republicans have a very strong bench. Biden has not been good at allowing talent to grow up underneath him. They just won't sing from that hymn sheet on the Republican side.
