The History of the Hebrew Bible
Many Bibles for general uses have a middle section, like while I'm holding here, which has got an apocrypha. In the 16th century, with the Protestant Reformation, the Reformers said we want the true original Bible. That means the Hebrew Old Testament, including some bits in Aramaic and the Greek New Testament. The Council of Trent had a vote on the canon, and the vote went 24 in favor, 15 against, 16 abstentions. Can you believe it?
