The Loss of Production in the Los Angeles Film Industry
The amount of production in LA has fallen in the past recent quarters. Part of that is anticipation of the labour action, but part of it is also this pullingback on the amount that studios are investing in content. On one side, there's a potential benefit to the studios from Astraik because they might not have to spend the money to produce things. Wall Street is watching subscriber numbers. There's an argument on both sides. But there's only so much people are going to watch in terms of repeats.
