Why Are College Costs So High?
Axios stumbles into the truth this morning. Students will now gladly take out larger loans when colleges can credibly wink and whisper that higher tuition rates are not a big deal, since the loans will be forgiven anyway. Sicker people tend to get insurance, which makes insurance costs higher, because they're paying for sicker people. People act differently when they know someone will bail them out.
