I Think There Is a Real Split Between Owned and Ownerless Dogs
Street dogs were seen as spreading the disease more widely than pets. Vets and some doctors did warn the middle classes to beware of their pet dogs. But on the whole, i think there is this real split between owned and ownerless dogs. Its a kind of complicated, am complicated story. Still to glum on the history extor podcast.
