The Trend Following Mindset
I followed the next iteration. I did not know where it would lead me. Now, I've led my life this way too. You take a step, you wait, you adjust and the priors count,. So if you take a step to the right and it's going in a good direction, you keep taking another step to the left. And then all of a sudden, if you have to step forward, you step forward but you keep adjusting to each piece of information that comes in. That is illuminating. This is the foundation of why trend following is successful because the great practitioners figured out that you needed to harness our unpredictable emotional states which we roll into.
