Is There a Prediction Air?
When the robot moves into a square where there's nothing, it vacuums away happily. Now what happens when the robot hits something? Well, it basically treats that as punishment. And any time it hits something, it assigns that specific location and negative value. The really smart robots will do a bit of math to figure out what's the best pattern to do this. This is also true of how computers, an artificial intelligence, learns to play games.
