You Need to Tell Stories

Mona Murray: I lost both of my parents, what I considered to be early. My mother at 12 and my father when he was 15. She says the first poem that stuck in her head was Robert Frost's "Not thing gold can stay" And she remembers asking this voice in her head why am I supposed to do that?Murray: The answer was you have to write. You need to tell stories so that no one else feels alone. That's how I got through it.
