Introduction
Distal radius fractures are the most common orthopedic injury and generally result from a fall on an outstretched hand. Diagnosis is made clinically and radiographically with orthogonal radiographs of the wrist. Treatment can be non-operative or operative depending on fracture stability and fracture displacement as well as patient age and activity demands.
