The Death of the Beastie Boys
Surrender is from their third album heaven tonight and not from the Budokan album surrender was a charting single and a big FM hit in 1978. The Beastie Boys sampled it for Jimmy James right on your head beliefs you're the beasties expert. It's sort of ruined them that they were this huge band following Budokan that was 79 and by 80 81 it was sort of over and it was over because back in those days if your label didn't promote the album if they didn't distribute it then you were dead right and they died.
