The Importance of Physician Leadership

Bob Greene: You were one of the early graduates for the Alliance for Physician Leadership at UT Dallas. He says he saw a lot of MBAs making decisions for doctors, nurses and patients without being clinicians. Greene: The MBA got me my first leadership job; I don't think I would have been recruited by Blue Cross honestly to be the president for Southwest Texas at the age of 40 without it.
