The imperial grand secretaries, along with the upper echelons of the eunuch corp itself, planned to roll out a plot to frame him and seven of his fellow eunuch servants. The official dom saw the eunuchs as conniving, duplicitous and immoral lick spittles. There was very little love lost between the two groups,. doubly so whenever one felt that the other might be trying to overstep its role into the territory of the otherit asy enough then, to understand why the imperial secretaries might look for just about any reason they could to get rid of them.
