Health care workers alongside teachers. They were absolutely central to this resurgence of strikes that we saw in 20 18. Recently we've seen another significant labor upsurge but in other sectors, mostly john dear kelloggs workers,. ioze members, grad students, but not yet among teachers and nurses. So much is it possible that there's bottled up strike energy that might soon explode? Because there is research finding that pandemics are historically followed by periods of mass social unrest.
