Did the Netherlands Win the World Cup in 1974?
Netherlands did not have a pedigree in the World Cup they played a couple of times in the 1930s but they'd not been. There was a kind of exoticism I think associated with them and then also it was linked to the fact that the team played in orange. The players were much more modern representation of youth in the 1970s. They generally were considered quite conservative relatively you know disciplines whereas the Dutch team was considered much more relaxed.
