LZ Granderson: Fairness doctrine applies to terrestrial radio and television. He says cable broadcasting was essentially allowed it pre-exists the late 70s, but it was brought to a large audience. LZ: If you restrict their speech rights using the fairness doctrine, you're going to end up having blowback against the kinds of speech you like as well.
