The Dutch Regaining the Colony
The dutch manage to outsorc their war primarily to native people carup, in particular, araac as well. It takes them months and months to be mobilized, because native soldiers fight on their own schedule. But eventually they form a cordon around the colony. They close off the hinterland so that any rebels who would have wanted to pear into the jungle can't really do so. And both these native people and a number of africans who work on the side of the dutch probably do more to gain the colony back then the european soldiers which are not trained in jungle warfare.
