CNN's John Sutter had the pleasure of meeting Michael APL back in September when we held the Toronto APL meetup. For most of those years, he didn't know anything about APL, except that it used a non standard character set. But around 2013, he started working with the Q programming language and after a few battles with it, experienced a profound quote "mental click" That changed not just how he thinks about programming, but most other areas as well.
