Is There a Trend to Men's Labor Force Participation?
Since the 1950s, the percentage of men who are working or looking for work has fallen from around 90% to just under 70%. This recession was supposed to be different because women lost more jobs than men. But it's still the case that women seem to have bounced back more easily than men have. Abba: The decline of men in the labor force has been a decades-long issue and it's perplexed economists for decades.
