Misogyny in the Police Van
It really felt a little bit like the air we breathed sometimes. There were specific moments, depending on which officers you're out with, or you being a van some nights, and it would be very explicit. It was almost like a kind of currency of workplace connection that if you weren't willing to get involved in that, you'd quite quickly feel sidelined. So I think it's the sort of situation for a lot of officers where even if that might not have been their natural style, you've got an decision to make. Or do I tap out and sideline myself and shut down?
