The Relationship Between Labour MPs and Eastern Europe Intelligence Agencies
During the Cold War some MPs worked for Eastern Europe intelligence agencies. One of them was a labour MP called John Stonehouse who actually was a minister as well in the Wilson government in the 1960s. He got into trouble financially and then it became well known how he then tried to fake his own death and he got caught but the Czechs were like subsidiaries or satellite intelligence agencies of the KGB.
