As the hangovers and consequences start to show up, the value of alcohol decreases for the take it or leave it drinker. But problem drinkers would be more likely to blame themselves for the negative consequences and continue on drinking because they're not understanding that the drinking is actually causing the bad stuff. So therefore, why would they need to stop drinking? We think it's our problem. And because of that, we should drink more to deal with all of these problems that we have since drinking helps. So it can even make thevalue of alcohol increase for us.
