The contradictions of the Shah's regime including those of the white revolution how did they ultimately undermine his regime's power rather than fortifying it as I imagine he had intended. The land reform accelerated the mass proletarianization of peasants into peripheral urban slums particularly like south taran or sending students abroad to study engineering turning them into revolutionary malice. Why why did a project to bind the people to the regime and to the state backfire creating multiple blocks increasingly alienated from and opposed to his rule what were the key social blocks that turned against the regime and why did the Shah become unable to crush or co-opt dissent?
