I Have Hyperphasia and I Can't See the Mona Lisa.
A person with aphantasia can only see the Mona Lisa if they have access to it and can look at it. The overwhelming majority of the times that I have, quote, unquote, seen the MonaLisa has been in my own head. "I like art a lot like visual art," says one man who suffers from hyperphasia - where his brain compulsively thinks of things visually.
